Our Teams:
Apply
Ready to apply? Find your perfect role on our careers site and submit your application online.
If you have been referred to a role from an existing Workmate, follow the instructions provided in your referral email and complete your application online.
You’ll receive an email confirmation shortly after applying. For best results, focus on one or two roles that best match your skills.
Helpful tip:
Our teams focus on attracting and selecting strong matches for open roles. Make sure your resume aligns with the job posting. While it may be tempting to apply for many roles, it’s best to focus on one or two that closely match your skills and experience.
Screening
Our dedicated, expert team carefully reviews every application. The selection process may vary depending on the role and number of applicants.
Our recruiters may contact you for a quick chat about your qualifications and skills for the role you applied to. You might be asked to schedule a time for this through our scheduling system, Paradox.
The screening call can be via phone or video and all the details will be provided to you beforehand.
We appreciate your interest in Workday. Due to the high volume of applications, we can only provide individual feedback to those selected for screening or interviews.
Online/Technical Assessments
We may ask you to complete a role-specific online or technical assessment. These assessments are designed to be fair and relevant to the position, measuring skills and abilities that traditional interviews might miss. We’re excited to see what you can do! 🚀
Don’t worry; we’ll provide detailed guides beforehand to answer any questions you might have.
Interviews & Assessment Center Visits
We believe your skills and abilities are what truly matter. Our standardized, skills-based hiring process ensures a fair evaluation based on your skills and abilities, not just your past titles or degrees.
We’re excited to meet you! Here’s what you can expect during our interview process:
- Be prepared: Research Workday and the specific area you’re interested in joining. Our careers blog and benefits site along with our teams pages (Sales, Corporate Functions, Presales, Engineering & Technology, Marketing & Design, AI & Machine Learning, Consulting & CX, Product Management, Project Management and Cybersecurity) are great resources to help with this. We recommend you prepare questions to ask us, too.
- Interview format: We want you to have the best interview experience possible. We might chat by phone, video call, or in person, and you might meet a few different interviewers. But don’t worry; they’re all trained in best practices to make sure you feel comfortable and respected.
- Be specific: Our interview teams like to hear specific examples from your experiences.
- Assessment centers: For certain roles and locations, we may invite you to an in-person assessment center. This involves group exercises and typically one or more interviews on the day.
This approach supports our goal to find amazing talent from all walks of life. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process, and your recruiter will be your main point of contact. You might also be asked to schedule interviews through our interview scheduling system, Paradox.
If we ask you to travel for your interview, we’ve got you covered. We’ll reimburse your travel expenses.
Decision and Offer
You’ll hear from us after your final interview. If successful, you’ll receive an offer letter and any relevant documents to review and sign via email.
We want to make sure everything is clear, so your recruiter will reach out to discuss the offer with you and answer any questions you may have.
Beyond your salary, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package. Be sure to check out all the details, including potential bonuses, benefits, and our awesome onsite facilities, when considering your decision.
Pre-onboarding
We’re here to make your onboarding as smooth as possible.
Once you accept an offer, here’s what happens next:
- We’ll work with you to choose a start date that fits your schedule.
- We’ll guide you through the pre-hire process, including any relocation, authorizations, or paperwork. We’re committed to making your transition to Workday as seamless as possible.
